Big second half for the Cowboys! Cowboys win!

The Cowboys looked awful in the first half and man did they step up in the second half. It looked like there were two different teams out there. Romo and Williams have hooked up for a number of great players. Choice and Jones have been running all over the place and what a huge interception by Terrance Newman.

The one problem I have with tonight's game is Damarcus Ware? Ware oh Ware is Ware. No sacks for the year and watching him pass rush he hasn't even put pressure on Delohme. The interceptions tonight weren't caused by pass pressure that is for sure. Those picks looked like bad routes being run by the wide outs. Ok Ok... There was one time in the 4th that Damarcus got close but he looked week and tired. Butler did a much better job I thought... and not just because of the sack... watch the film...

Cowboys Win, Cowboys win!

Vick to Start on Sunday

Michael Vick is getting what he wanted, to start in an NFL game as quarterback. Of course he thought he would get signed as a started right out of prison. I have been a supported of the new Michael Vick because I believe he is a changed man. But come on. Start? When everyone knew you would be suspended by Goddell anyway. So her is getting his wish and starting against the Chiefs this weekend. The Chiefs are not the best defensive team and Vick has looked good in preseason and practice this year. I expect him to run for 50 yards and Pass for over 150 and lead the Eagles to victory. What do you think?

NFL Week 1 in Review

WOW what a week. There seemed to be more last minute victories in a single week of the regular season than I can remember. Lets take a minute to go over some of the biggest highlights and busts before we list the scores is a segment I will call "The Good, The Bad, and the Painful".

THE GOOD

1. The successful return of Tom Brady and the win by the New England Patriots. Hey, I'm from Boston, what did you expect.

2. The Drew Brees show is coming to your town soon. Wow, what a performance! 6 TDs and what 1000 passing yards. Ok Ok... they played the Lions which means I could have passed for 2 TDs but still. They looked great.

3. Brett Favre shows why he is still getting paid. Look, I haven't spoken on this yet but he is paid well because he sells tickets and merchandise. Period. He showed why this weekend.

4. Mark Sanchez and the Jets. Wicked Awesome. They looked like formidable opponents this year for the Pats.

5. The Giants looked like a strong football team. There defensive line was swarming all day and that well executed fake FG made the Skins look like a Canadian football team.

6. Dallas looked spectacular! Ownes who?

THE BAD

1. Umm the Lions... Haven't won in like I can't count anymore... They will be number one on the bad list until they win.

2. If not the for Lions sucking like forever, Cutler you suck just as bad. The only difference between Cutler and the Lions is the entire team on the Lions suck!

3. Tampa Bay... Man the Boys spanked you.

4. Houston sucked so bad that I actually thought that the Texans were still playing there practice squad and didn't realize it wasn't pre-season anymore.

5. Cincinatti and Denver... YOu both suck and you didn't deserve to win McDaniels. Josh is too young to be coaching. No respect!

THE PAINFULL

1. Urlacher out for the season with a dislocated wrist. That had to hurt.

2. McNabb is out again. Making the Vick move BRILLIANT. don't you think someone there knew McNabb was going to get hurt.

3. Palamalu or however you spell his name. He is a bit lucky his injury wasn't more severe but still out for some time.

Michael Vick signs with the Eagles

The Eagles just became the smartest team in Football. Vick is an incredible athlete and has to be accounted for when he steps onto the football field. I watched the Vick interview on 60 minutes. Before he went to prison, I didn't like him. I thought he was a smug kid from the ghetto that has had no parenting, values, morals, or ethics taught to him. He was just born lucky. After watching the interview, I think the light when off for him. He is smart but wasn't taught discipline or administered any as a kid. Even if I lived in the ghetto I wouldn't let me kid watch dog fighting. Do you blame Vick for the past... I don't know. But I think he has really changed. You could see it in his eyes. You could see the wounds / emotions.

I am going to give him a second chance and so are the Eagles and they should. I hope this works out for him and he can become a model for redemption!

Vick signs with Eagles

What? The Eagles? They already have 2 good QBs... They already have a black QB... They say Vick will play as soon as he can be put on the roster... Wildcat fever I guess. Who knows what this means. Eagles suck anyway.

I'm over this story already!

Dungy talking about Vick

Tony Dungy mentioned that several coaches inquired about the status of Vick and his ability to perform. There has been talk that the upstart UFL would be smart to pick him up. My guess his Vick will play in the NFL this year and will try to sign quickly before the season starts. The timing is important because he will have to sit 4 games. Once you get 6 games in or so signing Vick doesn't make much sense. Why haven't the Vikings made a deal yet?

Hello Vikings. Do you want to compete. Sign Vick! He paid his debt to society and that is all we can ask. Let the man move forward. To state on the record, I do not like Vick as a person and would not want him on my team. Win or lose. But to punish a person forever is not ok with me either. He did the time asked of him. Lets all move on. Anyone who tries to make him pay more is no better of a person than what I think of Vick.

Packers Sign Vick or Vikings Sign Vick... I think we have a 50/50 shot

Packers really don't need Vick. The Vikings... well probably. Adrian Peterson and Vick in the same backfield. I would want to be a wide out on that field. Play action, bootleg then Vick heaves it 60 yards to a WR with nobody around him. But why would the Packers GM make a statement of interest in Vick. Well to steal him from the Vikings. He will probably sign for the league minimum for one year. Its easy pickens to keep him from suiting up in that almost as ugly as the Packers uniforms, purple people eater nightmares I am forced to look at.

Don't they have some artists in the mid-west? Besides the Bears uni's they all suck!

But I digress. Vick is going to go to either the Vikings or Packers.
